Hi Legends!

LESMURDIE LEGENDS APP
The time has come to get everyone onto our app. It’s still being updated but most of our upcoming events have been put on there, our squad timetable/equipment requirements, and next week our first newsletter will appear on there so we are hoping to get everyone on there by then.

TEAM APP INSTRUCTIONS
1. Go onto the google play store or apple store and search for Team App (PLEASE INSTALL IT).
2. Once installed, enter team app and choose “Find your Team/Club” and then search for Lesmurdie Legends. This will take you to our app but to use the chat forum (organise rides to meets or pickup/dropoff to training) you need to sign up for an account which at the top of your home page screen it will prompt you or you can sign up before choosing “Find your Team/Club”
3. If you sign up, you can then search for Lesmurdie Legends app and once you have chosen our app, at the top of the screen it says “Become a member of this team app (tap here)” tap that and choose Players and Officials group. On the ACCESS REQUEST MESSAGE just type your child’s name and press send in the top right hand corner.
4. Wait for me to add you and then you will have full access. Please keep in mind that this app is just starting so while there isn’t a lot on there right now, it will fill up very quickly with information as we have a lot going on with the club behind the scenes.
TARGET MEET – WESTERN SPRINT LC CLASSIC
We will be targeting the Western Sprint LC Classic on the 17th March at HBF Stadium. This is the last long course meet that we will target for the 2018/2019 season so it would be great to get as many swimmers there as possible. It is also one of the last chances the swimmers have to qualify for Long Course States. Please see your coaches on pool deck for advice on races.

BUNNINGS SAUSAGE SIZZLE
We are fundraising with a sausage sizzle at BUNNINGS KALAMUNDA on the 4th MAY. We are a small club growing very quickly to a large club so we need to raise funds for new high-tech training equipment and storage. We ask that all families volunteer one hour of their time on our sausage sizzle. We also need mother’s day themed raffle prizes donated and we need cakes/slices/cupcakes etc for our stall so if people could help with that we would greatly appreciate it! A timetable closer to the date will be sent out for people to nominate their preferred time slots but if people can indicate now that they are willing to help in terms of time on the day, cakes etc, or raffle donations please email through to let me know. We need every family to help out as we cannot rely on the committee to do this alone.

CLUB NIGHT
Congratulations on the wonderful successes many of our swimmers had at the last club night. It was great to see so many of our Junior swimmers there. Our next club night is FRIDAY 27th MARCH. Please keep this date free in your calendars! 5.30pm start with a finish around 6:30/7:00pm.

SCHOOL SWIMMING CARNIVALS
If we have any swimmers who are achieving really well at their school swimming carnivals can you please email through what school they attend, their place (champion/runnerup etc) and a photo of your child with their medal/trophy. I would love to pop them in the newsletter, on the facebook page, instagram etc.

THANK YOU FOR A GREAT START TO 2019!
